IKON SK6 flat profile Vector FP04 double cylinder
SK6 flat profile Vector FP04 is a high-quality IKON profile in the special SK6 class with 6 actively acting, spring-loaded pin locking elements. This profile is based on a patent, which was specially developed as a measure against current and common opening techniques and makes them very difficult. The FP04 profile is designed as a paracentric profile and has optional certifications according to DIN, VdS.
Basic length:
- from 30/30 mm
- short cylinder from 28/30 mm up to max. 28/45 mm
- measured from the middle of the cam
- extension 5 mm per side
Technical characteristics:
- 6 active, spring-loaded pin locking elements for relocking security
- paracentric key profile ensures unlocking security
- drilling protection class 1 (AB = 1) standard
- high protection against picking due to special profile design and pin combination
- emergency and danger function as standard (lockable on both sides)
- core pins made of wear-resistant special bronze
- crowned cylinder core head with reinforced key insertion
- cam made of break-proof, corrosion-resistant nickel silver profile

Cylinder finishes:
- standard finish: brass matt nickel plated
- optional: brass matt brushed, brass polished
- for individual design requirements
- if a homogeneous appearance of door cylinder and fitting is desired
- There may be slight colour variations between the surfaces shown and the original colours.
Drilling protection:
Standard drilling protection (AB = 1):
- for medium security requirements
- the first pair of pins made of steel
- one carbide pin in the cylinder body is combined with several carbide elements in the cylinder core
Increased drilling protection class 2 (AB = 2):
- for increased security requirements
- increased protection against drilling due to additional hard metal pins in the cylinder core and cylinder body
Increased drilling protection class 3 (AB = 3):
- for high security requirements
- drilling protection in the cylinder core and cylinder body from a combination of several special elements made of hard metal
Weather protection:
- corrosion-protected design
- cam and forend screw made of stainless material
- surface finish: matt chrome plated
Emergency and danger function (standard)
This function enables the locking cylinder to be locked even if a key with locking authorisation is inserted on the opposite side.
Freewheel:
The profile cylinders which have a freely rotating cam are designated as freewheel cylinders.
The cam can be moved freely through 360° when no key is inserted.
When the key is inserted, the spring-loaded clutch engages in the cam. This then allows the cylinder to be closed in the conventional way with the key.
- Usually only necessary for special panic or automatic locks. If in doubt, please check with the door manufacturer.
- for multi-point locks with panic function: latch and bolt must be moved into the lock body when the door is closed with the handle. To ensure this, the cam must be able to turn freely.
- in motor-driven locks and special escape door locks
- restrictions possible in combination with other optional equipment
Key with colour pin:
- optionally with plastic pin in various colours
- simplifies key management
- can indicate the assignment (e.g. locking authorisations) of the keys
