Different designations are possible: FH fitting

A fire protection fitting (also FH fitting) is a door fitting approved in accordance with DIN EN 1634-2 with 9 mm square handle or change pin.
In the case of fire doors, it must still be possible to operate the door after the fire test. For this purpose, the fittings must be designed accordingly.

All fittings must have a fireproof base including the operating parts. The surfaces can be made of different materials (plastic, aluminum, or stainless steel).

The FH designs essentially correspond to the hardware designs of the other hardware families.
