EVVA 4KS
EVVA 4KS (4 Curve System) is the most resistant system among mechanical locking systems. With its patented springless curve technology, 4KS is suitable for the toughest applications such as high up in the mountains or in production plants with high levels of dirt. The reversible key offers a comfortable insertion behaviour and turns easily and quietly in the cylinder. Of course, 4KS also has an EVVA-own feature: the overlapping curve milling. This guarantees maximum security and prevents key manipulation within the locking system.
The patented reversible key system is suitable for highly complex structured locking systems.

Legal protection through patent durations
The commercial production of an EVVA key is carried out exclusively by EVVA. All EVVA products are only sold via authorised EVVA partners. EVVA prevents the unauthorised manufacture of a 4KS key by means of patented features on the key. EVVA can take legal action against the commercial unauthorised manufacture of a key copy. The 4KS patent term runs until the year 2035.
High level of technical protection due to required expertise
The technical features of a 4KS key require special machines and a high level of expertise during production. Illegal production is only possible with very high expenditure. The special feature of the 4KS key is the overlapping curve milling. This practically excludes key manipulation within the locking system. The additional coding also ensures maximum security. The special feature is that one of the three curves runs asymmetrically on the other side. It is the hidden fourth curve that gives the 4KS its name. In total, the 4KS key is scanned four times.
Modular design (SYMO)
The 4KS cylinder is manufactured in modular design (SYMO) and is therefore more than flexible. With the modular system, the cylinder length can be subsequently adjusted by a specialist or a specific function (e.g. lockable on both sides) can be assigned to the cylinder. This allows you to benefit from flexible solutions and reduce your time and cost expenditure. The cylinder lengths can be changed in 5 mm increments.

Duplicate keys, duplicate cylinders and locking plans are only available from an authorised EVVA partner and only with the corresponding proof of authorisation, the EVVA security card.
