Single lock

If an individual cylinder can only be closed with one key, this is a single lock.

Our example:
key 1 (S.1) closes only pos. 1
key 2 (S.2) closes only pos. 2. etc.

There is no combination between the individual locks and keys!
That is why it is called single lock.
