ISEO
The history of the companies at the Gera site began in 1928 with a silk weaving mill. In 1978 the official foundation of the company Schloßsicherungen Gera took place, from this time on locks and locking systems were manufactured. In 1990 the company was taken over by the trust and privatisation as an MBO company and a Dutch investor joined the company as a shareholder. In addition to the already proven built-in security devices, the company now increasingly produced profile cylinders and locking systems. In 2004 Schloßsicherungen Gera was taken over by the Italian group of companies ISEO as a subsidiary. The company was renamed ISEO Deutschland GmbH
An entrepreneurial family
Iseo was founded in 1969 as an entrepreneurial challenge by Giuseppe Facchinetti and began with the production of locks, cylinders and padlocks in Pisogne, on Lake Iseo, from which the company took its name. Firmly rooted in its origins, Iseo has remained faithful to its location and to the business philosophy of the family who founded the company and led it to its present size.
