Premium IKON patented and paracentric triangular profile in system SK6 with 6 active spring-loaded pin locking elements according to DIN EN 1303 and DIN 18252. This profile is based on a long-term patent, which has been developed especially to counteract current and established illegal key-copying techniques, which it impedes to a very high degree. On the key shaft there are triangular profile grooves located on both sides which, due to their special arrangement in the area of the notches of the key, offer not only legal but also increased technical key copying protection.

Description of the additional options
Standard drilling protection (AB = 1)
- for medium security requirements
- the first pair of pins made of steel
- one carbide pin in the cylinder body is combined with several carbide elements in the cylinder core
Increased drilling protection class 2 (AB = 2)
- for increased security requirements
- increased protection against drilling due to additional hard metal pins in the cylinder core and cylinder body
Emergency and danger function
This function enables the lock cylinder to be locked even if a key with locking authorisation is inserted on the opposite side.
Low-wear version
Locking cylinders that are exposed to extreme conditions are provided in a special design with a low-wear core pin on request.
Freewheel (on request)
The profile cylinders which have a freely rotating cam are designated as freewheel cylinders.
The cam can be moved freely through 360° when no key is inserted.
When the key is inserted, the spring-loaded clutch engages in the cam. This then allows the cylinder to be closed in the conventional way with the key.
- Usually only necessary for special panic or automatic locks. If in doubt, please check with the door manufacturer.
- for multi-point locks with panic function: latch and bolt must be moved into the lock body when the door is closed with the handle. To ensure this, the cam must be able to turn freely.
